Hidden Lake Gardens
This 755 acre arboretum, maintained by Michigan State University, is a beautifully landscaped garden complete with a greenhouse conservatory featuring tropical, arid and temperate houses. Visitors may take advantage of five miles of hiking trails, drive the paved roads which wind through the property or take advantage of all the special events and wonderful classes put on by MSU at the Gardens year-round! |

Walker Tavern Historic Site
A historic museum site, and a Michigan State Park, featuring a Federal style farmhouse and New England barn used during the early 19th century as a stop along the Detroit-Chicago stagecoach line. The Walker Tavern Historic Site interprets Michigan's frontier settlement and stagecoach eras during the first half of the nineteenth century. Ongoing improvements are scheduled for 2006-2007.
