The School of Electrical Engineering successfully organized a summer school overseas teacher course

July 3rd to July 18,The School of Electrical Engineering successfully held 2023 summer school overseas teachers course,College invited Thomas Hamacher,Professor of Vedran Peric,Vladimir Terzija at the University of Newcastle University in the United Kingdom, Milutin Jovanovic, Professor of Victor Levi,Professor Kai Strunz from Berlin University of Technology,Professor Gilbert Teyssedre at the Laplace Laboratory at the University of Toulouse, and Associate Professor Igor Timoshkin at Stras Claid University in the United Kingdom teach lectures。All school (Jinan、Qingdao、Three campuses of Weihai) Including the School of Electrical Engineering、School of Energy and Power、Mathematics、385 undergraduates from 33 colleges including the School of Physics and other 385 undergraduates for this full English course。

This summer school overseas teacher course contains two courses,Future Low-Carbon Energy Systems (Chinese course name: future low-carbon energy system) and Renewable Power Generation and Operation, High Voltage and Insulation Technology。

FUTURE LOW-CARBON ENERGY SYSTEMS courses taught transmission motor control、Wind power generation system、Future distribution grid and smart solution、Estimation of the state status of the comprehensive energy system、Network topology optimization based on temporary stability、Data driver solutions for sustainable and elastic energy system in the future、Smart FM、Unstable voltage and detection and relief method、Class Lianlian Event and Power System Power Proof prevention、Digitalization -Revolution that leads the low -carbon economy and other background knowledge and key technologies related to low -carbon energy systems,and shared academic research experience and academic journals and conference paper writing skills。

Renewable Power Generation and Operation, High Voltage and Insulation Technology Course introduced wind energy、Solar、Water energy and other new energy power generation technology; power transmission in the power system、Knowledge in energy storage and management; in detail the basis of insulation physics of polymer polymer,Explain the failure mechanism of insulation materials through local discharge and electro -branches,Analyze the electrical performance by introducing the micro characteristics of the insulation material,Find nano -doping techniques for new electrical insulation materials; describes the important role played by high -voltage technology and pulse power technology to solve energy problems。

Students understand the principle of new energy through learning classroom theory、Application and future development direction,and deepen the understanding of high -pressure insulation technology。This course provides an industrial application -oriented basic professional knowledge for undergraduate students of power energy,Expand students' cognitive aspects of the cross -sector of disciplines,Cultivate students should have the skills and abilities that students should have in the future when facing the challenges of multiple fields。
