On December 25, the School of Electrical Engineering held the 2024 faculty and staff retirement ceremony to bid farewell to the honorable retirement of three teachers, Tian Lijun, Han Xueshan, and Wang Zhichen. Ding Lei, Dean of the School of Electrical Engineering, and Song Sili, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, attended the meeting. Li Changgang, Li Zhengshuo, and Wang Xiaolong, representatives of the units of the three retired teachers, attended the ceremony.
At the meeting, Ding Lei recalled the prosperous years, expressed his sincere gratitude to the three retired teachers for their outstanding contributions and hard work to the college over the years, and gave them his sincere blessings. Song Sili said that the development achievements of various undertakings of the college in recent years are inseparable from the hard work and selfless dedication of the three teachers. He hoped that they would pay attention to their health and arrange their retirement life with a positive attitude.
Three retired teachers recalled their years of struggle in the college, shared their on-site work experiences, and elaborated on their understanding of education from the perspective of teaching work. At the same time, the three retired teachers sincerely thanked the college leaders and colleagues for their concern and care for them, and expressed their ardent expectations for the young teachers, hoping that they would cherish their time and work hard to make progress.
Li Changgang, Li Zhengshuo, and Wang Xiaolong expressed their high respect and gratitude to the three retired teachers. They said that the on-site work experience and rigorous and serious work attitude of the veteran teachers are the most precious wealth. They should learn from their predecessors humbly and pass on and carry forward the fine traditions and valuable experience of the three retired teachers.
