On the afternoon of April 22, 2021, bySponsored by the Academic Department of the Graduate Student Union of our college “The fire is passed down from generation to generation, and learning is achieved through learning” No. 25IssueThe "Jingweiyun" Postgraduate Academic Thought Forum was held in Room 524, Electric Power Building, Qianfoshan Campus。The guest speaker of this forum is Professor Han Xueshan from the School of Electrical Engineering of Shandong University,The title of the lecture is "The Establishment of Electromagnetic Theory"。Song Sili, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Electrical Engineering, attended the forum and delivered a speech。This forum is hosted by Liu Yuhui, Academic Department of the Graduate Student Union。

In the lecture, Teacher Han Xueshan first introduced his knowledge ofThe understanding of “academic thought” and the origin of the title of this lecture,The four stages of establishing electromagnetic theory lead to the big topic of "academic thought"。He pointed out,so far,China has entered the stage of mass higher education,We should be trained together with high-quality staff,Chairman Mao’s Theory of Contradiction and Theory of Practice pointed out that “knowledge-practice-re-understanding-re-practice” is a necessary process for academics。This lecture,Han Xueshan’s early exploration through electrical and magnetic phenomena、Electromagnetic effect、The four parts of the discovery of electromagnetic induction and the establishment of electromagnetic field theory introduced the establishment process of electromagnetic theory to the teachers and students present,Introduced to us through the popularization of knowledge that he believes that academic scientific research ideas should be based on drawing inferences from one instance、Questioning,Just like Coulomb’s landmark quantitative discovery of Coulomb’s law, the study of electrical and magnetic phenomena was separated,But is there really no relationship between electricity and magnetism?Ampere's law reveals that flowing electric current can produce magnetism,So can magnetism generate electricity??Faraday revealed that changing magnetic energy generates electricity,To this point,Electric magnetism、Magnetic electricity is explained,Can discrete charges also generate magnetism?Han Xueshan talked about,So-called academic thinking,Looking at problems from a dialectical perspective,For a theory,Think: How could he have thought of this?simultaneously,Imagination must also be combined with practice,Everything starts with understanding and experiment,Down to earth。Finally,Han Xueshan put forward some of his own insights on the operation of the power system under the new situation,He thinks there are three points to the problem,The first is to target the large-scale integration of renewable energy into the grid,How to improve the utilization rate of renewable energy,Or power utilization、Equipment utilization and load rate。The second is voltage under unified control mechanism、How to control and adjust frequency。The third is the control mechanism、How to improve the market mechanism。

In question session,A student asked a question,In addition to the combination of computers and strong electricity, the new form of power system,What other aspects need to be studied。In response to this problem,Han Xueshan expressed,Combined with General Secretary Xi Jinping’s speech,The development of the current power system is basically based on new energy,We should consider whether the existing scheduling control system should be broken、How to plan at the superstructure level,There is also a micro system、Measurement issues are worth studying。In addition,In response to classmates“Is knowledge accumulation meaningful for scientific research if creativity is insufficient??”This question,Han Xueshan expressed,The accumulation of knowledge is the process of standing on the shoulders of giants。Think on the shoulders of seniors,Every small step is innovation,It’s all scientific progress。
