UHV Power Grid Analysis and Research Center was founded in 2007,The purpose is to establish a platform that can carry out safety and stability analysis of future UHV power grids。Considering the completion of the UHV project,A unified national UHV power grid will gradually be formed,The safe and stable operation will be more challenging,Must study and establish corresponding analysis and research capabilities。To this end, the School of Electrical Engineering of Shandong University and Shandong Electric Power Research Institute signed a technology project contract for the "UHV AC and DC Power Grid Analysis and Research Center",Purchased the first “full digital real-time simulation device for power systems” in universities across the country,And conduct secondary development and research,To promote the research work on safety and stability analysis of UHV power grid in my country。2010,While planning the Power Grid Intelligent Dispatching and Control Laboratory of the Ministry of Education,The center has become a branch of the Key Laboratory of the Ministry of Education。This branch has undertaken sub-topics of major national 863 projects in recent years、973 subtopic、National Natural Science Foundation of China、More than ten projects including State Grid Corporation of China’s science and technology plan,Received 3 science and technology awards at all levels。The research field covers the safety and stability analysis of UHV AC and DC power grids、Scheduling and control after large-scale intermittent energy access、Auxiliary decision-making for recovery control, etc.。

二、 Lab function

In 2007, Shandong University and State Grid Corporation of China jointly established the UHV Power Grid Analysis and Research Center,Introduced and built the first all-digital real-time simulation device for power systems in domestic universities, ADPSS。The center also has the power system analysis comprehensive program PSASP、BPA、PSS/E、DIgSILENT、DSA Tools、PowerWorld Simulator、EMTP-ATP、EMTDC/PSCAD、IBM ILOG、GAMS and other power system numerical simulation and calculation tool software,Independently developed electromagnetic transient overvoltage used in EMS/DTS、Generator self-excitation、Recovery assisted decision support and other power system professional programs。Able to carry out safety and stability analysis of UHV AC and DC power grids、Risk Assessment、Scheduling control and decision-making。

1. Safety and stability analysis of UHV AC and DC systems

Study on safety and stability assessment and countermeasure analysis of UHV AC and DC receiving end power grid、Analysis and adaptability of UHV DC transmission system、Multiple DC feed-in system stability characteristics and power receiving scale support theory and technology。

2. Scheduling and control after large-scale intermittent energy access

Research on data mining after large-scale intermittent energy is connected to the power grid、Feature reconstruction and risk analysis theory,Research and development of regional power grid dispatching and operation technology taking into account wind, solar, storage and transmission combined power generation system,Building a multi-temporal and spatial scale dispatching system for intermittent energy generation。

3. UHV AC and DC system recovery control and auxiliary decision-making

To meet the needs of power system recovery control after large-scale power outages,The laboratory developed a power system black start auxiliary training system and an intelligent recovery decision support system,Realized the whole process simulation of power system recovery and assisted dispatcher decision-making,Actual black start test in provincial power grid、Black start plan、Played a key role in the research work and field testing of power grid restoration planning and decision-making。

4. Theoretical analysis of power system stability

Study on frequency offset safety assessment method、Frequency Stability Assessment Theory、Frequency response pattern and characteristic analysis;Research on dynamic stability online evaluation and damping control theory、Reactive power and voltage optimization control theory。

三、 Main laboratory equipment



Advanced Digital Power System Simulator, ADPSS) is a fully digital simulation system based on high-performance PC clusters developed by China Electric Power Research Institute。This simulation device utilizes the multi-node structure of the cluster and the high-speed local communication network,Using network parallel computing technology to decompose computing tasks,And perform real-time and synchronous control of the process,Real-time and ultra-real-time simulation of electromechanical transients and electromagnetic transients of large-scale complex AC and DC power systems and external physical device testing。Use this simulation device,Can process 3000 machines、Research on electromechanical transient simulation and electromechanical-electromagnetic transient simulation of large-scale AC and DC power systems with 20,000 nodes,Can be connected to relay protection、Safety automatic device、Closed-loop simulation tests on actual physical devices such as FACTS control device and DC transmission control device,Can be connected to commercial software such as MATLAB for local and sub-task calculations,Access user-defined models to complete user-specified functions and tasks。
